Pet Food Company adds cat food to product list

An announcement from the Portland Pet Food Company (PPFC) reveals the details of the launch of its cat food product line.

As of this month, PPFC will officially start its distribution of cat foods via select stores. Total distribution throughout the U.S. to specialty and natural grocery stores is scheduled to begin in October.

In some cases, companies will provide a modified version of their logo for use by a separate division of their enterprise or an entirely new Logo Design.

PPFC unveiled its new human-grade cat foods, Luke’s Chicken N’ Pumpkin and Boots’ Salmon N’ Pumpkin, in March of this year at the Global Pet Expo. The company’s inaugural Homestyle Meal cat foods are created from whole food ingredients sourced in the U.S. They are free of synthetics, added hormones, and antibiotics supplements, and can be given either as toppers or as a complete and balanced meal. Containing fewer than eight ingredients, the meals are easily digestible to assist cats that have food sensitivities and digestive issues.

While launching its inaugural cat food formulas, PPFC will be enlarging its distribution with one of the country's primary distributors of animal health products, Veterinary Service, Inc. (VSI). VSI, which has over 3,000 customers across the western region of the country, will be distributing PPFC’s complete pet food product line, including the new cat-oriented items throughout out its territory.

The Homestyle Meal cat foods will retail for $3.29 per pouch.
