Oregons biggest beer event a go for 2022

Oregon Brewers Festival will once again be held in downtown Portland after being cancelled for the last two years due to the pandemic.

The festival will take place at the downtown Portland waterfront, and will feature a mix of 40 breweries. This will be the event’s 30th year; it is the West Coast’s biggest such event and the longest-running beer festival in the country. At its high point, the Oregon Brewers Festival attracted 80,000 attendees over a five-day period.

Poster printing and banner printing services each have a potential role to play in promoting large annual festivals.

In the few years immediately prior to the pandemic, the turnout at the Brewers Festival had dropped off slightly, so for this first post-pandemic festival organizers have decided to scale back a little more to account for any lingering adverse pandemic effect. Organizers say they are projecting 30,000 to 40,000 attendees.

The Oregon Brewers Festival will take place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park here in Portland on July 28 to 30. There is no charge to attend this event. Tasting tickets can be purchased at the festival with a $30 package providing the purchaser 10 tasting tickets and a 2022 12oz souvenir tasting mug. Individual tasting tickets cost $2 and a mug bought separately will cost $10.

The gates open at 11:30 am with the beer flowing noon to 9:00 pm.
