An expanding Nano Beer Fest is slated to be in place for both a spring event and another in the fall.
Dedicated to those beer producers who create limited batches, usually three barrels, or fewer a Nano Beer Fest will be held at each of the John’s Marketplace locations in Portland. The first will be held at the Multnomah Village bottle shop while the other will take place at the more recently opened Southeast Powell Boulevard location.
In a press release, one of the organizers of the festival, Chris Rhodes, explained that the purpose of the event is to help small breweries gain wider exposure, and to build and celebrate partnerships between these brewers and the local restaurants, taprooms, bars, and bottle shops.
Many events like this benefit from the employment of a poster printing service to help promote their cause and attract local interested parties.
First launched in 2008 in Tigard at Max’s Fanno Creek Brew Pub, the Nano Beer Fest has grown into a biannual event that also includes ciders and mead.
The spring Nano Beer Fest will take place April 29 through May 1, with the fall event scheduled for November 11 to 13. Admission to the spring festival, which include 10 tasting tickets and a keepsake glass, is $30 at the door or $20 online.
