Lucky 13 for Portland festivalgoers

The Baker’s Dozen Coffee Beer & Doughnut Festival is returning for its seventh run and will, as its name implies, feature 13 coffees, beers, and doughnuts.

The annual event brings together a baker’s dozen of artisans for each of three treats in which Portlanders takes special pride – beer, coffee and doughnuts. The popular festival takes its name from the old custom of bakers adding a 13th of whatever a customer was buying a dozen of as a token of appreciation.

The 2023 Baker’s Dozen will be held at a new location, John’s Marketplace, which features a covered patio with proceeds benefitting the non-profit organization All Hands Raised, which benefits Portland public schools. Banner and poster printing services provide an excellent means of informing the public of a fundraising event like this.

Tickets priced at $40 are limited to just 500 and include samples of everything on hand, including some of the specific coffee roasts utilized in the beers as well, as a souvenir glass. All ages are welcome to attend, although of course beer sampling is only for those 21 years of age and older. Any of the 500 tickets remaining will be sold at the door for $50.

The Bakers Dozen Festival will take place 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on April 22, at 3560 SE Powell Blvd. Tickets can be purchased here.
