Four of Oregon’s leading craft beverage makers, including one right here in Portland, will be combining forces with Oregon Parks Forever to raise funds for the planting of 25,000 trees in the state’s parks and forests.
The trees to be planted are to replace those damaged by fires throughout the state. The last two years have been particularly bad with regard to forest fires, and between an extraordinary windstorm and the extreme heat already experienced in the area, similar challenges seem likely this year.
Poster printing services offer a way of informing the public, as well as reminding them over an extended period of time, about a fundraising campaign.
Craft beverage producers Fort George Brewery, Canned Oregon by Stoller Wine Group, Sunriver Brewing, and Portland Cider Company are again working in conjunction with Oregon Parks Forever to fulfill its mission to replant one million trees and return Oregon’s forest to their former green and lush condition.
The beverage producers will be donating $1 from specific retail sale items throughout July and August to Oregon Parks Forever’s tree planting campaign. The items to look for are Stoller Wine Group’s 375ml, Canned Oregon wine, and six-pack cans of Fort George beer, Sunriver Brewing beer, and Portland Cider Company cider.
Every dollar donated to the cause will cover the expense of planting one tree. Oregon Parks Forever is already halfway to its goal of planting a million trees.
