Citys electronic plan review systems latest updates available

Portland’s ProjectDox platform has recently upgraded its ability to provide electronic review of development plans, which will make it easier for their customers to upload documents and give a prompt response to comments.

As of May 17, the Bureau of Development Services made a variety of features available to increase the intuitiveness and efficiency of its system via upgrades to its ProjectDox software. This is expected to speed up the permit process by streamlining the review of plans and hastening the issuance of numerous types of permits.

Director of the Bureau of Development Services Rebecca Esau was quoted on the city’s website, saying:

“The City of Portland will continue to improve the electronic plan review system as an option many customers find convenient and efficient, saving paper, reducing printing costs, and eliminating the travel and time required to drop off and pick up paper plans.”

Promotional brochure printing services can include news of city service upgrades and their importance in making the community more competitive.

This latest software upgrade makes it easier for Development Service customers to upload files and plans, as well as reply to comments made by plan reviewers and City permit technicians. Moreover, all comments pertaining to a permit can be found in one place, making tracking progress easier.

ProjectDox regular users should empty the cache on their internet browser upon their first time signing into the upgraded system to ensure the upgrade will work as it should.
