This is expected to speed up the permit process by streamlining the review of plans and hastening the issuance of numerous types of permits.
Director of the Bureau of Development Services Rebecca Esau was quoted on the city’s website, saying:
“The City of Portland will continue to improve the electronic plan review system as an option many customers find convenient and efficient, saving paper, reducing printing costs, and eliminating the travel and time required to drop off and pick up paper plans.”

ProjectDox regular users should empty the cache on their internet browser upon their first time signing into the upgraded system to ensure the upgrade will work as it should.
