Portland has held a Bridges to Brews event for more than 20 years, and 2025’s event will take place in mid-April.
The annual 5K, 8K, 10K runs and BEV MILE will start and stop at Waterfront Park between the Burnside and Morrison bridges, followed by a beer and cider tasting event complete with games, local vendors, and music.
Festivals provide an excellent place to market a business, often through the use of flyer printing.
Runners can pick up their packets, which include a T-shirt and a race bib, during race week. A form of ID is required, and it is suggested that participants also have on hand a digital copy of their registration. Individuals can pick up someone else’s packet for them, but must provide that person’s ID or their original confirmation email.
On the day of the race - April 13 - race day pick up begins at 7:30 am along with bag check. The 5K, 8K, and 10K runs begin at 8:55, and the Beer Festival opens at 9:00 am. Music starts at 10 am with awards presented on stage at 11 am, which coincides with the BEV Mile. The festival runs until 1:00 pm.
Food trucks will be on hand and tokens and cups for beer and cider will be available for purchase. A time limit will be set for road closures based on a 4 mile per hour pace.
