Bike store selects Portland to launch its USA division

SW-Motech GmbH & KG. has chosen to open a USA division and have it based here in Portland, under the name SW-Motech USA LP.

Heading up U.S. operations will be Sarah Schilke, a veteran of the motorcycle-industry. Her all-embracing experience in sales, marketing and German engineered products made her a good fit in the SW-Motech family. Joining Schilke will be Quintin Wilson, former service manager for Ducati and Alta Motors, to provide technical support for customers and dealers.

Selecting a business card design that includes the company logo, and having all employees that deal with the customers use that card design, is one way to launch a new-to-the-area company location.

SW-Motech offers a diverse variety of sport-touring, adventure, cruiser, and retro motorcycle accessories. By working directly with U.S. customers and dealers the company will be in a position to more effectively promote its wide range of protection, luggage solutions and ergonomic motorcycle parts to a larger number of potential clients. Plus, those customers will be assured excellent availability and service as well as fast shipping.

The company believes focusing on customer service and convenience will drive brand recognition and increase end-user support, especially in the Western states.

Existing SW-Motech customers can continue placing orders with SW-Motech partner Twisted Throttle LLC, which is located on the East Coast. As of June 1, SW-Motech USA will commence serving customers and dealers.
