The Glass City Balloon Race is coming shortly. The free two-day event will feature hot air balloon flights on both nights, helicopter rides, and glows.
On both days, over 20 food trucks, festival vendors, kids’ activities, and rides will be available.
The event will be open from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm tomorrow (September 27). Another Life (4:00 to 6:15pm) and Mustang Sally (6:45 – 8:00 pm and again from 9:30 to 10:45 pm) will be performing on stage. A balloon ascension will begin at 5:30 pm and the balloon GLOW will start at 8:00 pm. Fireworks begin at 9:00 pm.
On Saturday, gates open at 3:00 pm and close at 11:00 pm. Music will be provided by the New Fashion and The Menus. Toledo fans can meet and greet the pilots on the field from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm. Guests may wish to ask for their favorite pilot’s Business Cards.
The balloon ascension will take place at 5:30 pm and the Glow will start at 8:00 pm. Fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm, and The Menus will close the evening from 9:30 pm until 10:50 pm.
VIP tickets include watching the race from the field, Country Lane BBQ, front seats to Mustang Sally, and on Friday evening, someone will win a hot air balloon ride for two.
