Toledo’s 11th Annual Toledo Sister Cities International Festival is coming in mid-October. The event will offer more than eight hours of dance, music, and martial arts demonstrations.
Toledo Sister Cities International Festival will have performing groups representing our 10 sister cities based in Japan, China, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Tanzania, Hungary, Poland, Germany and Spain.
At least four countries are chosen each year to showcase their authentic cuisine. A Language Center will offer mini classes that change the language being taught every half hour.
Many attendees from different ethnicities will be providing interactive exhibits and games, while craft vendors will be selling items from all over the world. This year, the event is adding an international crafts area for the children, along with an international art exhibit.
Local businesses and organizations are donating Promotional Products and other items to the raffle. Volunteers are needed to get businesses to sponsor the event and submit each Logo Design before the festival brochure printing starts.
As has been the case in earlier festivals, a naturalization ceremony will welcome the city’s newest citizens. An international forum will consist of a series of short presentations covering a variety of topics. Each program will end with a question-and-answer session.
The Sister Cities International Festival will take place in downtown Toledo at SeaGate on Saturday, October 23.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
