The Northwest Ohio Music Festival is returning for its annual event. Proceeds will help to support families in Northwest Ohio through the local food bank.
The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank helps collect donations to assist families in need through events throughout the year that solicit donations. Their annual food drive is underway and they are reaching out the community again for help.
Individuals and businesses can raise awareness of the needs of the community by putting up Flyers and collecting donations. Almost 20% of families in the community don’t have adequate means to supply their love ones with the nutrition needed for healthy living. This food bank helps provide access to food items and services for those in need.
The food bank this year has the support of 13abc and Dave White Chevrolet. Donations of food items can be dropped off through June 20th at any of the locations, two are located in Toledo: 13abc at 4247 Dorr St and Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank at 24 East Woodruff Avenue. Dave White Chevrolet is located in Sylvania at 5880 Monroe St. Dave White Chevrolet will also provide a “drive-thru” donation day on June 29th at their dealership.
The music festival leading this event will be held on June 24th from 4:30 to 11:00pm at International Park. The Average White band, The New Fashioned and Tinsely Ellis are scheduled to entertain during the evening. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 or for an additional $5, they can be purchased on the night. Donations can be brought to the festival as well.
