The Marathon LPGA Classic is coming to the area in July. Over 50,000 spectators are expected to watch LPGA golfers vie for the $1,600,000 prize.
Daily tickets can be purchased at the gate. Weekly tickets are $60 for grounds and $120 for Clubhouse Courtyard. Weekly parking passes are $20. Labatt Party Tickets are $100 per day.
Participation shirts for players and volunteers will have the red Marathon Logo Design on the left shoulder. Patron sponsorship levels at $1,700, $2,500, and $5,000 include the patron;s company logo design in the souvenir program book.
The first round, played on the Thursday, will be Senior Day, will free parking and admission for attendees over 55. For the second round on Friday, Healthcare workers and one guest will get free parking and admission. On Saturday, the third round will be The Blade Day and the final round on Sunday will be Family Day. Families will get free parking and admission and will receive buy one, get one free hot dog vouchers.
Over 30 Toledo area children’s charities receive a portion of the proceeds from this event. Over $12m has been donated since the inaugural event back in 1984. Along with the core recipients (Ronald McDonald House Northwest Ohio and the Jamie Farr Scholarship fund) this year’s charities include Cancer Connection, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Autism Model School.
Marathon Classic will take place from July 5th to July 11th at the Highland Meadows Golf Club, 7455 Erie Street, Sylvania.
