H-Factor Jazz Enthusiast Club will host its 6th Annual Great Lakes Jazz Festival in a couple of weeks.
This year’s line-up will include producer and international recording artist Bob Baldwin, national jazz vocalist Lindsey Webster, Funky Fly Project, and Toledo’s own Urban Sound Track. Latin Jazz player Jean Holden will receive a special award.
Guests are invited to arrive early and bring lawn chairs. The venue will have vendors and food trucks. Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the event website, at Henry’s Jewelry & Giftware, 4909 Door St. or All Star Music, 2021 S. Byrne Road.
Tickets at the gate will be $20. Kids under 12 years old get free admission. Proceeds from the festival will go to the H-Factor Jazz Enthusiast Club, an organization that seeks to bring low-cost jazz to Toledo and surrounding areas.
Festival T-Shirts sporting this year’s white and yellow graphic design are available online for $15 and $17, depending on size.
A raffle with a top prize of two return tickets to Florida, thanks to Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, will benefit the Great Lakes Jazz Festival Scholarship fund. The fund provides money for instruments and music lessons for Toledo children.
Great Lakes Jazz Festival will take place at Ottawa Park Amphitheater on Saturday, September 11 from noon until 8:00 pm. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Lourdes University’s Franciscan Center, 6832 Convent Blvd, Sylvania.Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
