On the weekends throughout the fall season, the city of Kent will be continuing its policy of closing down popular streets in the city and putting up tables so customers can dine outdoors safely.
Residents of Stow may want to try out some of the restaurants that will be taking part in this effort and explore other options in the city. Such efforts are often promoted throughout a city and the surrounding communities with poster printing.
Tom Ingersoll, manager of the Fresco Mexican Grill, said that the city has been focusing on shopping local in recent months, meaning business has performed well. He added that residents and people from all over Northeast Ohio, including Stow, Hudson, and Tallmadge, have been coming to the city as visitors are attracted to the outdoor dining options, as well as the river, the river walk, and many other charms of the city they are not able to find elsewhere. He added that Kent is an ideal community for walking around.
Jon Farrell, a resident of Kent, told SpectrumNews1.com that the outdoor dining options have enabled him and his friends to get out during this time.
The city itself has made many efforts in keeping residents and visitors safe. There are outdoor sinks and sanitation stations, which are reassuring to visitors, Ingersoll commented.
