A series of Career Readiness Workshops in Piqua are being offered free to community members as well as students in February.
Ohio Means Jobs Miami County in conjunction with Edison State Community College (ESCC) to present a series of three independent workshops. The purpose of the workshops being held at ESCC is to help those in attendance build the career readiness skill sets required to find, land, and maintain rewarding employment.
The first session to be held will be at 9:00 am and again at 1:00 pm on February 11, and it will be oriented to soft skills such communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving.
The second session will take place at 8:30 am and repeat at 1:00 pm on February 18, and will focus on resume writing.
A third session is scheduled for 8:30 am and again at 1:00 pm on February 25, and will take a comprehensive look into the interview process.
All workshops will take place at the Edison State Piqua Campus in the Robinson Student Career Center. Those wishing to participate may attend any or all three sessions.
