Edison State Community College in Piqua is presently accepting applications for associate degree programs in Respiratory Care, and Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) as well as its RN to BSN degree program.
The Respiratory Care program at Edison State educates students on the use of ventilators, various treatment processes and will include classroom and laboratory time with an eye toward providing clinical experience.
Students once they have completed the program will be eligible for the Respiratory Therapist Multiple Choice exam to acquire a Certified Respiratory Therapist license.

In the MLT program students learn how to obtain, process, test and evaluate biological samples. They will also become familiar with clinical laboratory equipment use and maintenance.
MLT applications must be completed by April 30 to start in the fall late semester in October.
Registered nurses wishing to complete their BSN can do so via a four-semester program at Edison State that is comprised of seven nursing courses as well as general and technical electives. To start the program for the 2026 fall semester an application must be submitted by July 31, and students are required to consult in person with an Edison State adviser prior to applying.
The Practical Nursing, LPN/AND Transition and Registered Nursing programs at Edison State will open to applications on June 15 with a final date for accepting applications being July 31.
