Piquas Edison State to host summer symposium
Edison State Community College’s Office of Workforce Development & Work-Based Learning will be hosting a symposium for HR professionals this summer at its Piqua campus.
Those attending the one-day 2025 Summer Symposium will examine strategies to retain a robust and engaged workforce, and again information concerning employment law updates. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other HR professionals, forge new partnerships and share best practices.

The event is sponsored by The Human Resource Association of Western Ohio and will have as its keynote speaker Tafani Stober. Her address is titled “(H)APPtitude.” Stober will speak on using existing tools to boost performance and achieve outstanding outcomes. She brings two decades of experience in team development, strategic leadership and talent empowerment and specializes in individual coaching to produce leaders who create flourishing work environments that produce results.
The cost to participate in the 2025 Summer Symposium for HR Professionals is $125 per person and since Edison State is recognized by The Society for Human Resource Management as a recertification provider, attendees can receive Professional Development Credits.
Event registration is open for the Symposium which will take place on the Piqua campus August 7. Check in will start at 8 am with the program running 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
