One of the leading garage door springs manufacturers, IDC Springs held a groundbreaking ceremony recently for an expansion of its facility.
The construction at IDC Spring’s facility in Ohio will give the Piqua business 66,800 sq. ft. to work with, which means greater production capacity. The company has chosen Brunn Construction to handle the project.
Companies sometimes take the opportunity of an expansion to engage a poster printing service to create Posters to direct employees as well as guests through the new or partly new facility, as well as new motivational and safety Posters.
Director of Sales Jenny McGrath has been quoted by the Daily Call as saying:
“We have committed to investing in a new facility expansion and growing our garage door spring capacity in the East region. These investments will allow IDC Spring to fulfill additional demands in the coming months.”
According to COO and Owner Jeremy Sizer, the expansion will be decked out with top-of-the-range automated equipment that will result in higher skilled and higher salary positions through on-the-job training.
IDC Spring has since January 2011 been part of the Piqua Business Community. The company is known primarily for manufacturing commercial and residential garage door springs. The company president Jodi Boldenow has said the company is in an excellent position for future growth as well as acquisitions.
