CCP tuition waivers from Edison State continued

Edison State Community College’s offer of College Credit Plus (CCP) – Career-Technology tuition waivers to 2022 high school graduates will continue to apply to 2023 graduates within the school’s service area.

The program includes 2023 graduates in four counties surrounding Piqua: Miami, Darke, Shelby, and Preble. Also included are home-schooled students in the College’s service area and Career-Technical partner high schools.

Catalogs, class schedules, and descriptions, as well as Banners, are among the many reasons colleges may require printing services.

Those students receiving a waiver, which includes 100%-free tuition, will have completed six credit hours’ worth of CCP with the college, CTAG coursework, career-tech articulated coursework, or a combination of those programs. The term “tuition” covers instructional, general, activity, technology, and career service fees. Students will be responsibility for individual course lab fees, textbooks, and security fees.

To be eligible they must also register immediately after graduation for classes in the spring, summer, or fall semester and fill out FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) paperwork and complete an application for a CCP/Career-tech tuition waiver. Financial aid awarded to an individual will be applied to their tuition first.

In an effort to create a smooth high-school-to-college transition for students, Edison State has been working with high schools and career-technical centers in the area. More than 30 area high schools have partnered with the college to offer collegiate-level courses, and more than 50 high schools have students attending class on campus.
