To help celebrate its 50th anniversary, Edison State Community College will be hosting a disc golf tournament at its Piqua Campus at the end of September.
The Bring-Your-Own-Partner (BYOP) event will take place on the school’s Duke Foundation Disc Golf Course on. The tournament check-in starts at 8:00 am with the first round commencing at 9:00 am. Following a lunch break, a second round will start at approximately 1:00 pm. Food trucks will be on hand for participants to enjoy on the course during both the morning and afternoon rounds.
Tournament fees will be $50 per two-person team. A variety of side games will be included in the tournament, including longest drive, closest to the pin, and an ace fund, which costs $5 to enter.
Print shops provide personalized plaques and trophies for a variety of charitable sporting events.
Mulligans (second attempts at a shot) may be purchased prior to the start of the tournament on the day of the tournament at a cost of six for $5 cash per person, and can be used in both rounds.
Participants will receive a Player’s Pack containing a T-shirt, bag pin, stamped mini, and towel. Payouts for amateur divisions will be in Hazy Bucks and pro divisions will a receive cash payout.
