Bourbon Affair to take place this fall

It has been announced by the Piqua Arts Council (PAC) that tickets are now on sale for its Inaugural Bourbon Affair.

This new event, which if successful may become an annual affair, will include specialized food pairings with either a bourbon or wine tasting, and a silent auction with Viva La Strings as accompaniment. A five-course tasting menu will be available to go with the bourbon and wine selections. The silent auction will include a variety of bourbons, tickets to sporting events, entertainment venues, and local experiences.

Seth Regula, the PAC program director, was quoted by Dayton247Now.com as saying:

“Our committee has worked hard to carefully select five bourbons and five wines that pair with our special tasting menu. The committee wanted to focus on rare, hard to find, allocated or barrel picks for the bourbon and the wines will be higher end wines.”

The Bourbon Affair will take place November 5 at The Gallery Venue & Event Center. Doors will open at 5:30, giving guests 30 minutes to mingle before the first course is served.

Attendees at exclusive events frequently take Business Cards along in case any networking opportunities arise.

A cash bar will be on hand for those who want a little more than the allotted drinks. Tickets are limited for this event, with only 110 bourbon and 110 wine tickets available. They are $100 each and can be purchased here.
