October’s Mainstreet Piqua Chocolate Walk is taking place next month, and ticket sales began yesterday.
The annual event this year will feature over 20 chocolate offering locations along the city’s Main Street. The Walk will start at Winans Chocolates and finish at Readmore’s Hallmark, where participants can partake of refreshments and take advantage of register-to-win opportunities.
In response to COVID-19 concerns, new measures will be in place this year. Chocolate Walk hours have been extended, plus bare-hand contact with the candy has been eliminated in favor of individually wrapped pieces.
Fine chocolates are recognized as an excellent corporate gift option and are frequently combined with branded Packaging that features the providing company’s name or logo, and perhaps its signature colors.
With a chocolate treat being offered at each designated stop and more than 20 downtown Piqua businesses taking part, organizers will be distributing Bags, along with a list of participating businesses so that chocoholics can plan their route in advance.
This annual event is being co-sponsored this year by Readmore’s Hallmark, Winans Chocolates + Coffees, Hartzell Hardwoods & Hartzell Air Movement, the Mutual Federal Savings Bank, and the Park National Bank.
The Chocolate Walk will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 9. Bags and the list of participants will be handed out as of 3:00 pm on the day.
