Many in West Columbus will soon be heading to the 2025 Earth Day celebration, which is scheduled toward the end of April.
This family-friendly event will stress environmental conservation with community science projects, demonstrations, and workshops to learn about sustainable practices like recycling and composting.
There will be a dog agility show, guided fitness activities, and a raffle. A children's tent will have book readings, live insects, a science demonstration put on by the Center of Science and Industry, and crafts.
Guests may also take part in interactive games and stroll around the 40 sustainable-focused vendors. Non-profits will likely have representatives distributing conservation information and reminding visitors of their missions, programs, locations, and hours of operation.
The venue's Center Stage will have performances throughout the event, and food trucks will be on hand with plenty of snacks and beverages for sale.
The food trucks and bands will be active from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, while the children's activities, booths, and vendors will be from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Attendees are being asked to donate used sports equipment and clothing.
Admission to the Earth Day Celebration will be free. Those wishing to support events like this often have flyer printing done at nearby Print shops.
The 2025 Earth Day Celebration will take place Sunday, April 27 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in Scioto Audubon Metro Park, 400 W Whittier Street, Columbus.Get a Free Quote for Print
