Jazz & Rib Fest bring fun, food and detours for West Columbus

The always popular Jazz & Rib Festival is almost here, and West Columbus will enjoy the music and food while soldiering through the traffic delays and detours that always accompany the festival.

The 2026 free summer festival will be the city’s 45th and will have an anticipated 200,000 attendees. It will take place at West Bank Park and Bicentennial Park July 24–26. Over 30 food vendors will be on hand offering classic fair food as well as lots of excellent BBQ selects paired with dozens of musical acts.

Banner printing services are a must for festivals both for promoting them and directing attendees.

To make room for the festival the city has to close a number of streets, most of which will only be closed the 24th through the 26th. However, a select few streets will be closing on July 20 and will not reopen until the early morning hours of July 28, so plan accordingly.

Festival attendees can avail themselves of parking throughout downtown Columbus, including surface lots such as COSI and Columbus Commons. Additionally, people can rent a CoGo or take their own bicycles to the Scioto Mile via the connecting bikeways and trails. Plus, there will be COTA routes available going to and from the festival site.

The Jazz & Rib Fest will take place 11 am to 10 pm on July 24 & 25 and 11 am to 8 pm on the 26th.
