West Columbus golfs for women's charity

West Columbus golfers, no matter their skill level, are invited to attend Femergy's Inaugural Golf Classic coming in mid-May.

The event will be a fundraiser supporting four community-based programs aiding more than 1,500 local women and girls.

Brunch bites and networking will take place from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm. Professionals who attend networking opportunities like this often get their Business Cards updated and printed at local Print shops beforehand.

A program will be presented from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm. Guests can enjoy mimosas while learning about community accomplishments by those directly involved.

Golf Clinic Number 1 will run from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm. This will take place on the green and will consist of mini clinics covering putting, hitting, and chipping. These sessions are designed for those new to golf and those whose skills need a little refining.

After a 15-minute break, Golf Clinic #2, identical to the first clinic, will take place from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Guests may bring their own clubs or use the ones provided by the golf course.

Small business vendors will be onsite and community organizations will be passing out information about their free resources from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Brunch birdie tickets are $55, and the Graze and Golf clinics will cost $87 each.

Femergy®'s Inaugural Golf Classic will take place Saturday, May 17 from 11:30 am to 4:30 am at Champions Golf Course. 3900 Westerville Road, Columbus.
