Plenty of West Columbus music lovers will be supporting the Columbus Symphony by attending its June summer concerts.
A Boy Band Symphony will take place on Saturday, June 14. Conductor Stuart Chafetz will be leading the orchestra in an evening of timeless hits from famous boy bands. Special guests include members of NSYNC, 98 Degrees, and O-Town. The performance will run from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
On June 20, which is the following Friday, the symphony will present Name that Tune - Nationwide Popcorn Pops. Professor “Tim Pani” will be trying to name famous orchestra tunes, movie music, and pop songs. Yacht Rock Symphony with Ambrosia, Peter Beckett, and John Ford Coley will take the stage on Saturday, June 28 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. These original artists will be performing their 1970s and 1980s Billboard hits such as How Much I Feel, Baby Come Back and I'd Really Love to See You Tonight.
