West Columbus enjoys run, glow, and bubbles
For those in West Columbus who enjoy music, night runs, 5ks and just plain fun, Night Nation Run Columbus 2025 will be coming toward the end of September.
Although the event will be a 5k, it will also be a music festival complete with light shows, bubble zones, dancers, and selfie stations along the way.
Preregistration is $39.99 next Saturday, August 30, and $70 after. This includes the standard race packet, glow necklace, admission to the pre-and post-race concert, access to the after party, and free glow gear giveaways.
The fun begins at 5:00 pm with packet pickup, and the pre-party begins at 6:00 pm with a live DJ, and interactive light shows. The first wave will begin at 7:30 pm with more waves leaving the starting line every few minutes. Participants will be partying, dancing, and enjoying multiple party zones along the way. Fog, lights, cold smoke and confetti await the runners as they complete the race. A main stage will feature multiple DJs.
This event is supporting SU2C, and attendees may donate $1 to receive special race bibs, or can purchase T-shirts and find fundraising methods for the charity's cancer research programs. Local print shops often create race bibs for events like this.
