West Columbus celebrates fall and readies for the holidays

Many West Columbus fall enthusiasts will be heading over to the annual Family Fall Fest that is set to visit the area in early November.

With a quick turnaround, a nearby area will also host the holidays at the Ohio-made Market.

Attendees at the Family Fall Festival will want to bring their roundest pumpkins to enter this year’s PLINKO Pumpkin Roll. Entrants will roll their pumpkins down the park’s sledding hill to win a $100 savings certificate, among other prizes.

Families may bring their dogs to take advantage of the park’s new fenced-in Dog Park. Other activities for the day will include a giant maze, hayrides around the park, a Zombie hike, and a huge leaf pile for kids to jump in. The event will feature yard games including pumpkin bowling, ladder toss, and sucker tree.

The shelter house will have cider, s’mores and a craft fair.

The Family Fall Festival will take place Thursday, November 2nd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Wyman Woods Park, 1450 Goodale Boulevard, Grandview Heights.

Everyone can then get a jump on their holiday gift lists by attending the Ohio Made Holiday Market 2023. More than 80 Ohio-based merchants, specialty companies, and unique shops will be vending items such as hand-dipped candles, original artwork, hand-painted wood Signs, and custom-designed clothing.

Vendors at markets like this often slip custom-made Business Cards in with purchases.

The market will take place November 18th and 19th at Hollywood Casino, 200 Georgesville Road, Columbus.
