Many West Columbus future athletes will be heading to the Arnold Sports Festival coming in late February.
The four-day event will feature an expo, showcase, an IFBB Pro league meet-and-greet, and sports competitions in gaming, strongman, strength, dance and fitness, body building, and combat.
The Arnold Expo will feature over 500 booths of the latest in sports Apparel, equipment, and nutrition. Several stages will have non-stop entertainment, exhibitions, and competitions.
The Expo will be held in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High Street, Columbus on the February 28 to March 2 weekend.
On Thursday, February 27, International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness will hold a meet-and-greet featuring competitors from competitions such as Arnold Classic Physique, Arnold Classic, Fitness International, Figure International, Wellness International, and Bikini International. Ticketholders will be able to get autographs, chat, and get photos with their favorite athletes. Young aspiring athletes occasionally take the photos they get with their heroes to local Print shops and poster printing companies do have them made into Posters to hang in their bedrooms.
The 24th annual Arnold 5k Pump & Run will offer a 5k run and a bench press competition, and a run/walk-only 5k.
The runs will start near the corner of Spruce and North High streets at the north end of the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Sunday, March 2 at 10:30 am.
