Many here in West Columbus will be heading to the Columbus Arts Festival in early June and the Summer Jam West 2024 coming in mid-July.
Over 200 local visual artists will be at the downtown riverfront in the Big Local Arts Village for three days at the Columbus Arts Festival. They will be selling their works, and many will be demonstrating their expertise in art genres like Japanese calligraphy, wire sculpture, bookbinding, blacksmithing and leather crafting. Kids may enjoy the Kids hand-On Activities on Dorrian Green Village. The nearby Big Local Arts Stage will present Columbus music artists.
The 2024 Columbus Arts Festival will be from June 7th to 9th at the riverfront in the Scioto Mile.
Hilltop Arts Collective will present a family-friendly celebration of community art and music at Summer Jam West 2024.
Attendees may meander through more than 40 artist vendors displaying and selling their one-of-a-kind handmade creations. Some artists enjoy creating homemade Business Cards that they can slip in with purchases.
Local food trucks will be on hand with summer treats. Community non-profits and other resource organizations will be handing out information regarding their programs, missions, hours of operation and addresses. Arts Zones will offer art activities for the children. Free kids' bike helmets will be provided by the Columbus Police Department.
Summer Jam 2024 will take place July 13th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at Westgate Park, 456 S. Westgate Avenue, Columbus.
