Special show skates into town

Families in and around Grandview Heights will soon be able to watch a kid-friendly ice skating show.

Presented by Yo Kids, ‘Disney on Ice, Worlds of Fantasy’ will bring favorite Disney movies to life on the ice rink. Characters from Disney’s ‘Cars’, ‘Toy Story’, and ‘The Little Mermaid’ will skate into action. Attendees can expect special effects, acrobatic stunts, and music.

'Disney on Ice' performs shows across the nation and also internationally. Along with the “Worlds of Fantasy’ show, there are several other productions such as a ‘Frozen’ show and a ‘Princesses and Heroes’ performance.

The event will be held at Nationwide Arena, a large sporting and entertainment venue that the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets call home. Located on 200 West Nationwide Boulevard, the venue is part of the Arena District in downtown Columbus.
Tickets cost between $20 and $70 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster or by calling (800) 745-3000. No doubt Stationery printers were utilized to create tickets and programs for the performance. These items are often saved to remember an event.

Shows will take place on February 18 to20 at 7:00 pm. There are also additional ‘Disney on Ice’ shows on February 21 and 22 at 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. In partnership with the Columbus Zoo, the February 19 show at 7:00 pm has been deemed 'Zoo Night'.
