The Grandview Hop, the community’s summer nights stroll, block party and market, will be returning towards the end of June.
Grandview Avenue will again be closed between 3rd and 1st Avenues for the open-air market and the stroll will continue up to 5th.
The open-air market will offer 10 food trucks and over 100 pop-up shops featuring Grandview Heights area independent vendors selling merchandise such as beauty and grooming products, clothes and Apparel, produce and food items, health and wellness goods and services, home goods, jewelry, and pet needs and treats. Local performers will provide small-scale entertainment. Our Kids Enterprise Alley will be returning. Local artists will be displaying, selling their work, and some will be creating their masterpieces.
Sometimes, people wanting to support community efforts such as this put their flyer printing orders in so they can get reminders out to friends, neighbors, and fellow workers.
During the stroll along Grandview Avenue and its side streets everyone is encouraged to pop in and get acquainted with local businesses such as Aladdin’s Eatery, Cub Shrub, Figlio, Grandview Café, Grandview Grind, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.
Over the years, The Hop, especially the Charity Beer Garden, has provided donations amounting to over $90,000 to local charities such as Habitat for Humanity MidOhio, TriVillage Mentor League, and Ronald McDonald Charities of Central Ohio.
The Grandview Hop will open Saturday, June 25 and return every fourth Saturday (July 30, August 27, and September 24) during the summer.
