Beatles fans in and around Grandview Heights have a chance to listen to all of the band’s official songs.
The Fifth Annual Beatles Marathon will feature a live, 12-hour performance, beginning with the song ‘Please, Please Me’ and ending with ‘Abbey Road’. Musicians from the area will breathe new life into 214 songs by the Fab Four.
The performance will be held at The Bluestone, a historic church building that was built in 1898. Now, the venue is the site for weddings, concerts, private parties, meetings, and other special events. The Bluestone has three levels and full service catering.
No doubt a local poster printing service was asked to make a sign to advertise the event. Pedestrians are likely to notice a poster with bold fonts and graphics.
The Beatles Marathon began in 2010 at Andyman’s Treehouse, which is a music venue now known as ‘The Tree Bar’. Since then, it has become a yearly event. Joe Peppercorn is responsible for its creation.
The event will take place on December 27 at 1:00 pm. Doors will open at noon. The Bluestone is located on 583 East Broad Street in Downtown Columbus. General admission is $10.00, while VIP admission costs $20.00 and includes access to The Bluestone’s loft area. Tickets can be purchased on EventBrite and may have additional fees.
