Grandview Heights locals will have an opportunity to listen to the musical stylings of Donna Mogavero, a Columbus native who offers a family-friendly playlist and familiar voice.
Mogavero has been featured on local radio and NPR's ‘World Café’. She is the only woman to win the Recorded Music Grant, presented by Metropolis Recording Studio.
Mogavero offers songs in a variety of genres, from folk, to pop rock, to country and soul. She sings and plays rhythm guitar. Some of the tunes she will offer will be her own creations, while others will be familiar covers. She will also be singing new renditions of songs most will never have heard before. Mogavero has won several local awards including ‘Best Female Vocalist’ in the Columbus Guardian readers’ poll.
Those planning to attend the performance may want to arrive early as seating is limited. Also, some may want to obtain Promotional Products prior to the show and get them autographed by Mogavero.
The musician will be performing at Grandview Heights Public Library, 1685 West First Avenue, Columbus tonight, January 21, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The performance will be free of charge. The will be CDs available for purchase before and after the show.
