There is still time for Grandview Heights runners to enter the OhioHealth Grandview Yard Quarter Marathon & 5K coming at the end of August.
Marathon registration will be $50 until this Sunday, July 17, $55 from then until August 15, and $60 through race day, while 5K registration will be $30, $35, or $40 according to the same cut-off dates. VIP packages will be an additional $100 for the marathon and for the 5K, and they come with special jackets and admission to the Diamond Cellar VIP tent. The tent will offer drinks, and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants will be the caterers. The VIP tickets are limited to 200 participants.
Swag will include finisher medals which can be engraved free of charge at Diamond Cellar, short-sleeve T-Shirts sporting the event’s graphic design, official race bibs, and free photos.
The course will take runners on a tour of Grandview Yard, the Scioto Greenway, Franklinton, and the Arena District. Byers Xtra Mile Post-Race party will take place at the finish line in Ray E. DeGraw Park.
Race packets may be picked up Friday, August 26 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports Upper Arlington, 1344 W. Land Avenue, Upper Arlington.
The event will take place Sunday, August 28 at Grandview Yard, 850 First Avenue. The starting time will be 7:00 am.
