The Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Arts Council will once again be presenting the Lazy Daze of Summer Festival very shortly.
This free event will be a juried arts and craft show with live music, a silent auction, food trucks, and free art activities for the kids.
More than 50 artisans will be offering their handcrafted items for judging and for purchase. Live entertainment will be on the center stage all day long. Businesses such as local printing companies that sponsor the event will have booths in the Business Showcase area. Nonprofit organizations will also get their own showcase area. Some of these businesses and nonprofits may want to get their banner printing done soon to ensure that their Banners for their booths will be ready in time for the event.
The silent auction will have items that have been donated by patrons and local businesses. The proceeds from the auction will be used to continue the GH/MC Arts Council’s scholarship fund.
Friends of the Grandview Library Book Sale will have used literature on site that will be sold “for a song”. Proceeds from the sale will go to benefit local library programs.
This event will be held this Saturday, July 23rd on the lawn and surrounding streets of the Grandview Library, 1685 West First Avenue from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
