Cyclists here in Grandview Heights will be donning helmets and getting their bikes ready for the upcoming citywide bicycle tour ‘Bike the Cbus 2020’, coming in September.
Since 2008, riders of all abilities and ages have taken part in the tour of Columbus neighborhoods. Three routes will be available: the city-centered route will be 30 miles long, the metric century will be 62 miles, and a 10-mile all-trail ride will be geared to families. Hollywood Casino Columbus, 200 Georgesville Road will be the beginning and end of all the race routes.
The 62-mile ride will begin at 7:00 am, the 30-miler at 8:00 am, and the 10-mile family ride will begin at 9:00 am. All riders must complete their rides before 1:00 pm if they intend to take advantage of the free lunch offered by the Hollywood Casino.
Custom red, gray, white and black jerseys featuring the event graphic design will come with each adult registration received before July 31. The registration will also include course map, swag bag, wrench support, snacks and rest stops. A Finish Festival will be in full swing after the tour.
Packet pickup and a free vendor, Yay Expo, will be on the evening before the race from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Attendees may also get their tickets for the Bike the Cbus raffle at the Expo.
The Bike the Cbus 2020 will be Saturday, September 5 from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.
