With the temperature dropping, conditions should be perfect for the Grandview Heights Parks and Recreation’s upcoming 39th Annual Great Pumpkin Run.
The run is just a couple of weeks away and runners are advised to dress warmly. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
The route will start in front of the Grandview Heights High School and take the runners down Oakland Street toward West 1st. The course will then turn south and proceed to Goodale Blvd. It will then turn east and go along Goodale turning north onto Lincoln Road. At West 1st, runners will take a little jog east and turn north onto Cambridge Avenue. At West 5th Avenue, the route turns south and retraces its way to West 1st Avenue and goes west to Oakland. Finally, the run will turn north onto Oakland and finish at the starting line.
Spectators along the course may want to bring Banners to support their favorite runners.
