In Grandview Heights, searches will be on in the next few weeks. In March, the hunt will be for a leprechaun, and in April it will be for Easter eggs.
The city’s annual Leprechaun Hunt will take place, as usual, in and around downtown Grandview. This city-wide event will be a scavenger hunt in search of the ever-evasive Leprechaun. The hunt will be free and the first 75 people who register will receive goodie Bags.
It will all start at Wyman Woods Shelter House, 1450 Goodale Blvd., where sleuths pick up their maps. At this time, contestants will also receive the first clue on their journey and a list of which businesses will be participating.
As everyone progresses from store to store, they will get the opportunity to join in interactive games and St. Patrick’s Day-themed activities. Local businesses will also be handing out Promotional Products and other freebies.
A month later, Wyman Woods Park will be the location for the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt and Party. Here, Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff area kids are invited to decorate and hunt for eggs, and meet the Easter Bunny at the Shelter House.
The Leprechaun Hunt will be March 16 from 11:00 am until 1 pm.
The Easter Egg Hunt and Party will be at the park on Saturday, April 20, starting at 10:00 am.
