Grandview Heights hunts for leprechauns and hosts parade

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Grandview Heights is holding its annual free Leprechaun Hunt next month.

The hunt will begin at Wyman Woods, where the map and first clue will be given. The directions will reveal which local business has the next clue. Each participating business will require the hunter to complete an activity before receiving the clue.

Print shops and other local businesses will be handing out giveaways at each stop. Goody Bags will go to the first 75 participants.

For those who wish for a little more celebration and do not mind the journey, Dublin, Ohio will have a real St. Patrick’s Day Bash. A pancake breakfast sponsored by the Lion’s Club will start the day. Balloons will be inflated during the Inflation Celebration, and that will be followed by the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

After the parade the Dublin AM Rotary will be hosting a Blarney Bash until late into the night. The event will have entertainment, music, food, and soft drinks. There will be crafts, fun and games for the kids in the Wee Folk Area.

The Leprechaun Hunt will begin at Wyman Woods at 1520 Goodale Blvd., starting at 11:00 am on March 17.

Dublin’s festivities will be on March 10, with the parade starting at 11:00 am and the Bash going from noon until 11:00 pm at 555 Metro Place North.
