Grandview Heights has plenty to do for this Halloween season.
Everyone is invited to run in the 40th Annual Great Pumpkin Run 5K coming at the end of October. Runners can either register online or in person on race day. The first 500 runners to register will receive commemorative T-Shirts with the Great Pumpkin Run Logo Design on them.
Kid of six years old and under can enter the Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot. Although this event will be free, participants must register on race day. The first 50 to register will get free T-Shirts sporting the Great Pumpkin Run logo.
The Grandview Library and the Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation will be once again hosting its Sixth Annual Howlin’ Halloween Grandview Heights Beggars’ Night. The event is free and ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to attend in costume, and enter contests that will be held three different times throughout the evening. Members First Pathways Financial Credit Union has donated prizes for the winners. There will be plenty of treats, and pictures will be taken.
The Great Pumpkin Race will be this Saturday, October 27 starting at Edison Intermediate/Larson MIddle School gym. The Tiny Tot Trot will begin at 8:30 am and the Great Pumpkin Run 5K will start at 9:00 am. Race Day registration begins at 7:30 am.
Beggars’ Night will be on Halloween, October 31, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Grandview Heights Public Library
