The Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club will be hosting, organizing, and running a Central Ohio fundraising event early in February.
Food and activities will be available for all members of the family. This year will mark the 21st anniversary of the event.
Over 25 local restaurants will be serving everything from fish and chips, pulled pork sandwiches, and buffalo chicken wings, to prime rib sandwiches, gourmet soups, roasted pork tenderloin, pizza, and cookies. Beverages will be available in promotional Drinkware. The local cuisine will be for sale in heated pavilions and tents.
The Debits will provide live music, and silent and live auctions will see memorabilia, sport collectibles, and grocery gift cards from Kroger up for grabs.
Children will have their own activity area called the Children’s Open which will be in the Activity Pavilion. Kids ages five through twelve may stay in the secured and supervised area while Grandview Heights parents meander through the activities in the Water’s Edge main tent.
Proceeds from this event will go to support Ohio’s children’s charities including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The Children’s Hunger Alliance, The Ohio Troopers Caring, The Westerville Area Resource Ministry, and the Maria Tiberi Foundation.
This event will be Saturday, February 4 from noon until 5:00 pm at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, 4850 West Powell Road in Columbus.
