As spring approaches, everyone will be getting the urge to go outside, and two food events over the next couple of months will let locals do just that.
The Grandview Scavenger Hunt will be in mid-April, and the Fifth Annual Grandview Chocolate Walk is slated for the end of May.
The Grandview Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Columbus Food Adventures, will have guests going to various sites in the neighborhoods searching for tasty treats from five designated food vendors. Discounts and possibly some Promotional Products will also be given out, and one stop will have hunters creating gifts to take home. There will also be prizes. The hunt will end with everyone heading over to a “super-secret happy hour location” for food and celebratory drinks.
The next outside food adventure will be the 5th Annual Grandview Chocolate Walk. Amblers can go on a walking tour of the town and stop at certain participating businesses for chocolate treats. Tickets will be $25 each, and proceeds will go to the Endowment Fund of the Grandview Heights Public Library.
The Grandview Scavenger Hunt will start at 2:30 pm and end around 5:00 pm on April 15. The actual starting place will be e-mailed when tickets are purchased online.
The Chocolate Walk will be May 31 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm starting at the Grandview Heights Public Library 1685 W. 1st Street.
