Merry Krampus and Holiday in the Heights are both coming to our area in early December.
Next Tuesday, December 6, Holiday in the Heights takes place between 1st and 3rd Avenues, which will be the scene of the annual Grandview Heights Tree Lighting. The Iceless Ice Rink will be open from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Then from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Grandview Avenue will come alive with trackless train rides, snowball fight arena, live reindeer and the gigantic SnowGlobe where everyone can stop by for pictures. Event sponsors and vendors will be selling their holiday goods and services.
Guests that have their pictures taken at photo opportunities such as the SnowGlobe this early in the season often take the photos to nearby Print shops to have them added to holiday family newsletters.
Merry Krampus 2022 will be returning to Columbus with the great Yule Lord, Krampus “punishing” non-believers and delighting those believing in Christmas. More than 75 vendors will be selling holiday gifts, both Krampus and Santa Claus will be on hand for photos with families and kids, and the Amazing Giants will be meandering around the crowd. Guides from the Columbus Ghost Tours will be regaling attendees with eerie tales of local haunts. Proceeds from the prize raffle and the photo booth will go to Colony Cats & Dogs.
Merry Krampus will be Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Strongwater Food and Spirits, 401 West Town Street, Columbus.
