Grandview Heights will be getting into seasonal spirit with a Family Fall Fest coming later this month, and the Great Pumpkin Run 5K and Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot on the way in late October.
Family Fall Fest will bring in the fall season with food trucks, bounce houses, yard games, and music from The Shazzbots (4:30 pm until 6:30 pm). Local businesses are invited to set up tables and bring Promotional Products, and information about their goods and services. This perk will be free.
Family Fall Fest will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 30 in Grandview Yard at Ray DeGraw Park.
Next month, Grandview Heights’ ghosts and goblins will be lacing their sneakers for the upcoming 42nd Annual Great Pumpkin Run 5K.
Adult runner pre-registration will be $25 and can be completed online, while race day registration will be available for $30. Shirts sporting this year’s graphic design will go to the first 500 registrants.
A Tiny Tots Pumpkin Trot, aimed at children from one year old up to the age of six, will have little ones lined up at 8:15 am. The dash down Oakland Avenue will begin at 8:30 am. Registration will be free and will begin at 7:30 am on race day. T-Shirts will go to the first 90 registrants.
