Grandview Heights area takes time out for Harvest for Hunger fundraiser

Coming in a few days, Harvest for Hunger Palooza 2018 will be a three-hour event to raise money for the Mid-Ohio Harvest for Hunger Foodbank, now in its 38th year.

The Mid-Ohio Foodbank provides over 154,518 meals daily to the hungry throughout Eastern and Central Ohio. Many recipients are senior citizens and children. All of the proceeds will go toward restocking its shelves.

This year’s event will feature six CEO’s from around Ohio. They will be the CEO of Donatos -Tom Krouse, the president & CEO of NiSource - Joe Hamrock, Cardinal Health Executive Chairman of the Board – George Barrett, President of The Ohio State University – Dr. Michael Drake, and American Electric Power Chairman, President and CEO Nick Akins. Mid-Ohio Foodbank CEO Matt Habash will also be on the agenda.

Tickets run $25 and must be purchased before September 17.

Grandview Heights businesspeople who take time out of their busy schedules to attend this function may want to get their Business Cards updated so they can do a little networking during the benefit. Pictures taken during the evening would make nice additions to any company’s brochure printing as a testament to its community outreach programs.

The harvest for Hunger Palooza 218 will be Thursday, September 20 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Express Live!, 405 Neil Avenue in Columbus.
