Grandview Heights area enjoys coffee festival

The 4th Annual Columbus Coffee Festival will be coming for two days to Ohio Village at the end of September.

Over 20 coffee vendors - such as Jump Start Java, Morning Ritual at The Goat and Winans Chocolate and Coffee – will be joined by 10 food vendors including Coco Cat Bakery and Chocolates, Ohio Girl Bakes, The Original Goodie Shop, and Uncle Giant. Guests will also have the option to purchase items from shops like Eleventh Candle Co., Jackwind Studio, and Dawn Stock.

Two stages will have local talent presenting live music. Oakland Nursery will be giving out gardening tips to the Early Bird ticket holders. From 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm AR Snavely Fitness will present yoga instruction, and local artist Este Hupp will conduct a novel Watercolor Workshop using coffee as the paint medium. There will also be ceramics, poetry, screen printing, mini golf, art, history, and axe throwing. The local Columbus Humane Society will be there with kittens for adoption.

Tickets range from $15 to $50. The most expensive $50 Expresso Express two-day tickets will include early bird passes for both days from 9:00 until 2:00 pm and a Coffee Festival mug emblazoned with the event’s graphic design to hold the 3oz – 4oz coffee samples.

Columbus Coffee Festival will run from Saturday, September 28 through Sunday, September 29 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Ohio History Connection’s Ohio Village at 800 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus.
