The 2019 Arnold Sports Festival is coming to the Grandview-Heights area at the end of February. Over 80 nations with over 22,000 athletes will be competing in the 75 sporting events.
The seven major events will include the Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships, the Arnold Strongman Classic, the Arnold Amateur NPC Figure, Fitness, Bodybuilding, Physique and Bikini Championships, and the Arnold Classic.
The Greater Columbus Convention Center will hold the Arnold Fitness EXPO from March 1 to 3. Nonstop demonstrations and competitions will be held amongst the over 1,000 booths. The booths will be displaying and selling sports Apparel, equipment, and nutritional supplies.
A special Arnold World Kids & Teens Expo at the Ohio Expo Center will be on March 2 and 3. Around 200 vendor booths will be selling sporting goods targeted to the younger athletes. This expo will also offer competitions and demonstrations.
March 2 and 3 will be the Inaugural Futsal Tournament. Futsal is an indoor soccer game using a size four soccer ball on a basketball-size court. Events will be held at the Ohio Expo Center in the Taft Coliseum at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. In inaugural sports events such as this, event organizers usually get plenty of pictures for future brochure printing.
Famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger himself will present a Sunday seminar on March 3 at the Battelle Grand Ballroom, commencing at 10:00 am.
The 2019 Arnold Sports Festival will run from February 28 through March 3 in Columbus at various locations.
