Families in Columbus and nearby Grandview Heights can challenge their brains at the Kids Linked Learning Rocks Education Expo this month.
The all day event will feature a math competition where 1st through 8th graders will compete to solve math problems. Winners will receive cash and other prizes. There will also be a spelling bee, the kids’ monster drawing contest, and a chess tournament.
Those who are interested in technology or science may want to join the bridge and skyscraper challenge, a Minecraft tournament or the Lego robot competition. Individuals may register for any of the contests on the Kids Linked website.
Other highlights include the Jedi and Santa breakfasts where guests can dress up as a Jedi or holiday themed character and enjoy a special breakfast. Seating times are at 10:00 am and 11:00 am.
Other activities include author readings and signings, a mobile video games truck, and a book fair. Families may want to check out the holiday sale area where there will be consignment clothing and toys for sale.
Admission is free and parking costs $5. The breakfast costs $9.99. A Direct Mail printing service was probably used to get the word out about prices and other important information.
It all takes place on November 14 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Lausche Building, located at the Ohio Expo Center on 717 East 17th Avenue.Get a Free Quote for Direct Mail
