The National Fishing Expo will be in Columbus for three days in mid-February.
Over 300 vendors from the United States and Canada will fill the 150,000 square feet of the exhibition center. Exhibitors will be displaying and vending every major line of rods, tackle, reels, Apparel, and boats. They will be representing all aspects of fishing, from well-known national brands to custom-made pieces. There will also be outfitters with information on guides and trips. Expert anglers will be sharing fishing secrets and tips with Grandview Heights attendees.
Vendors at events such as this always bring Business Cards if anyone wants to get in touch with them after the show.
A collection of 24 speakers will include professional circuit and tournament anglers, a local muskie expert, an author, a professional walleye fisherman, a Buckeye Lake expert, and a Lake St. Clair guide.
A Kids’ Zone will feature casting contests, seminars, and a pond stocked with live trout for kids to try their luck.
Tickets run from $12 for a single-day pass to $25 for all three days. Kids under 17 can get in free when accompanied by a paid adult.
The show will run Friday, February 11 from noon to 7:00 pm; Saturday, February 12 for 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; and Sunday, February 13 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Bricker Multipurpose Building, 717 East 17th Avenue, Columbus.
